I got my Rhinehart 18-1 for $104 included shipping. I can tell you it was worth the money. I also use Danny Millers arrow pulling pliers. He made his long before Bednar ever thought of his

Just an FYI follow up. I ended up getting an Am. Whitetail Cube (24"x24"x14") for $76.50 (it's a big target, I think I will like it) and an Am. Whitetail Hybrid King All Purpose (18"x18"x9") for $31.50 and a 1 oz. bottle of Scorpion Venom for $9.90. All at Sportsmen's Guide and were by far the best prices I could find for all items. Both are rated for field tips & broadheads. Probably didn't need both targets but the smaller one will be good for travel.

I also use an un-cocking bolt as it is illegal to travel with a cocked xbow in my state.

JW, what bow do you use?

I make bag targets using feedbags stuffed with old jeans and blankets. (any metal parts removed.) I can test FP's and both mech. & fixed blade BH's with practice blades no problem..... and the overall cost is just a few bucks for bags from the farm store.
Also, I have never had to use an arrow puller with these homemade bag targets... |
So great! but i cant afford for it

:confused0024: old old post... But seriously, a feedbag stuffed with old clothes, sheets, rags, bags, etc is ALL YOU NEED! (like the one pictured) I wouldn't post bad info. But I guess if you are looking for ANY of the store bought BH or FP targets, they WILL cost you something. Especially the higher quality ones. Nothing is free really but a few bucks for a very functioning target can't be beat in my book. I have very limited funds and have to make do with what I can. BTW - My sister in law Staci was making crazy shots at just under 60yards with my Excalibur Vortex !! Granted we were bench shooting but that's pretty damn good. And she was just learning. Unfortunately Staci passed away unexpectedly last month. I am lost without her. She was/is my best friend... :( ![]() ![]() |
