Well my fella crossbow users I have been shooting my CX1 @ 40 yards & i had to shoot at different spots so i wouldn't ruin my bolts by them hitting each other I didn't know that these new modern xbows shot that hard at 40 yards & even further & i have to get it zeroed at 45 & 50 & so on . My first crossbow was a old used Hortorn Steel Force recurve xbow & i killed a nice doe with it at around 12-15 yards & it did a complete pass through & now imagine how hard our modern compound crossbows are shooting at 3 or more times the distance than 12-15 yards I really had no idea fellas that crossbows have came as far as they have . I just love to be a part of this crossbow brotherhood . For me it's much more exciting than any gun i have ever used to hunt with i can't hardly wait untill that shot comes & i am doing everything so when that "Shot" comes i will be ready
