Crossbow for 6 year old?
#1
I'm considering getting one for my son for deer hunting next year. Of course it will be used with my supervision and used in a ground blind and a field pod rest. Any suggestions and he is a lefty.

One of the smaller & lighter x-bows out there is the Barnett RC-150. My buddy bought one for his son many years ago and he used it well. It is the smallest, lightest x-bow I have ever handled while still having enough power for hunting. It is also the quietest x-bow I have ever shot. They have taken several nice deer over the years with it.
He put a red dot scope on it, and it is deadly out to 20 - 25 yards.

I just got my son a parker challenger for his 10th birthday, which is sunday, and it fits him great. He shoots it well but complains its kinda heavy. Take the quiver and arrows off and he says it helps out some.
