Default My first crossbow buck.

Yesterday afternoon was GORGEOUS! Temps in 60s & falling, slight NW wind & the deer were moving well deep in my west TN swamp. I shot the 7th buck I saw. This 220# "pigasaurus" came by at 12yds. I buried the bolt in his chest, he jumped tail high & kicked, spun 180, ran 40yds & piled up! This was also my first bow hunt since 2005 so it was GREAT to get back out in the early season woods. (TenPoint Titan TL-4, AccuDraw 50, elec. dots scope)

Very nice buck indeed! That is a big'n anywhere!

Did the arrow exit? Can't tell in the pics for sure, that would be impressive if so.

Craig the bolt broke the ribs on the far side but the tip of the broadhead was bent up pretty good by then so it didn't penetrate the skin and was actually visible as a lump just under the skin. (The red circle is around that lump) The broadhead is toast but the bolt is alive and well to be used again!
