Ground blind for crossbows
Was considering the Ameristep Crossbones Ground Blind(google it if you don't know about it). Have you used this and what are your thoughts if you have?
Please describe the conditions in which you used it.
What did you think of the weight?
Was it easy to set up in the field?
Have you used this in the summer/winter or both?
Thank you.

I just saw the Crossbones blind a few weeks ago and really liked it. It has the new hubs in it so they are a lot more durable. I haven't had the opportunity to hunt out of it yet but it sets up just like the rest of the Ameristep hub blinds. If you do it correctly it will take you less than 30 seconds to have it set up. The weight should be on the lower end of similarly designed blinds because it is a little shorter (62" and 16 #'s I think) since it's designed to be used with a crossbow. It also has tall windows on the corners so if you want to use it from an elevated platform you can shoot downwards easily. And as always with Ameristep their quality is hard to beat! Remember it comes with a crossbow stand/holder to!!! I think it would be a great choice for you.
