I learned my lesson last year, Quad82!! I sold my TenPoint to a friend of mine as another friend had just bought a Barnett Predator and he talked me into getting a faster, flatter shooting Xbow. I would get the bow dialed in pretty good but as I shot it it would start shooting all over the place. I would get it dialed in again and then do the same thing. After about fifty shots the string just snapped while I was sighting it in. Sounded like a shotgun going off and right in my face!!! I went to my bow shop and they told me that Barnett strings were junk and talked me into an expensive set of Black Widow string and cables. I brought the Xbow home and this string broke after only a couple of shots. Now it was only six days before the season started and I was a mess. I ended up going to my bow shop and bought a brand new TenPoint on my credit card. I practiced my you know what off for the next five days and on the sixth I shot a nice little eight pointer!!! All Barnett offered me was some new strings and that was it. I went to my credit card company and they told the reseller that if they did not take the bow and give me my money back, they would go after them for the money. It worked and I am now back on track. I learned a valuable lesson or two. Barnett is junk and faster is not always better.......
