Well, I think I am done with Barnett bows. Still waiting to hear back about my Revolutiion that Barnett has had in for replacement. I figured they deserved a chance to make right. So I am patient and waite to see the outcome. But I bought a second Revolution so that I would have at least one for the opener! I figured I would give it to my son to use if I got the other one back in time. Anyway I shot the new one 3 times before the serving cut. Seems the scope mount, trigger assembly has 2 very sharp corners that slices the serving upon firing. I filed the edges down and reserved the string. Shot it 30 or 40 times and all looked good on the new serving Then I noticed that the serving was cut and unwinding at both ends where the edge of the served string rides in the pullies. I also noticed that the servings on the cables were seperating and sliding down the cables. I like the bows. But I don't like crap that I can't depend on.

Git rid of it before you or your son get hurt!
Call Wyvern Creations 603-659-0575 talk to David he can get you on the right path at a great price and the best service you can get any where!:barmy: |
"Hope wyvern saw this, maybe that rep should read this!"
I have, he did, and as I said, till they impress me they are not one of the brands that I will sell. I have no problem if they clean up their act, but they still seem to be the "cheep bow" they always were... Wyvern |
i have never even touched one of them, don't intend too either

Safe thinking mike, they will hurt ya been there once was enough!:barmy:

I learned my lesson last year, Quad82!! I sold my TenPoint to a friend of mine as another friend had just bought a Barnett Predator and he talked me into getting a faster, flatter shooting Xbow. I would get the bow dialed in pretty good but as I shot it it would start shooting all over the place. I would get it dialed in again and then do the same thing. After about fifty shots the string just snapped while I was sighting it in. Sounded like a shotgun going off and right in my face!!! I went to my bow shop and they told me that Barnett strings were junk and talked me into an expensive set of Black Widow string and cables. I brought the Xbow home and this string broke after only a couple of shots. Now it was only six days before the season started and I was a mess. I ended up going to my bow shop and bought a brand new TenPoint on my credit card. I practiced my you know what off for the next five days and on the sixth I shot a nice little eight pointer!!! All Barnett offered me was some new strings and that was it. I went to my credit card company and they told the reseller that if they did not take the bow and give me my money back, they would go after them for the money. It worked and I am now back on track. I learned a valuable lesson or two. Barnett is junk and faster is not always better.......
