I am brand new to X-bows and did a lot of research before I purchased. It got to the point I was having headaches. Spending that kind of money and not knowing was a difficult choice. I live at least an 1 1/2 to any store that carried x-bows and the choice was limited. Even at BPS in Orlando. I finally took the advice on here and a couple other forums and dealt with Dave @ Wyvern and bought a Ten Pt HLX. Only draw back is it's heavy but don't regret the choice. It's deadly accurate. Funny I live on the water close to St. Pete Bch and I thought shooting would be an issue. The trick was to invite the couple of neighbors that I was worried about to shoot it and now I can shoot all I want but only at 20yds. Haven't lost any bolts in the water yet!. Overall, very happy and Dave was great to deal with. Anybody that hasn't talk to Dave and is looking for any x-bow gear and you want personal attention, this is the guy to call.
