Hawke MAP/Cyclone
Wing finally healed enough to test the new Hawke MAP scope previously installed on my Cyclone. Sighted in at 20 yard zero it is absolutely on at 30, 40 and 50 yards. No fudge factoring involved at those distance! Using 428 grn arrows: GT Laz II, 110 brass inserts, 2" Blazers, 125 gr heads and Dave's aluminum moon nocks. Must be my lucky day.
At 350 fps it's all I need to turn loose. Bad part is getting the arrows out of the target. ( I know, Spider Web target......just as soon as I settle the doc's bills.)

RE: Hawke MAP/Cyclone
I made TWO sets (and a stringer, painted my big bow press and upgraded the string jig, etc...mostly one armed) while I was waiting, Ischa. They work great. Unfortunately, lack of patience is not an operable condition.

OOOPs
New rope cocker with rollers (by Parker) works great. Pull isn't much easier, but hooks don't jump unto deck and no more scratching or sides. Worth the $30, esp if cocking a bow like the Cyclone which has a very drastic string angle when cocked due to short limbs.
