Check this link out before you part with your money. Straight up comparison of Lumenoks, Tracers, and Firenocks. It helped me make my decision. FWIW.

I have no problem with these type of videos showing Pro's and Con's but I sure hope that people can see the difference between an addvertisement and a true test without bias.

To me on that video lumenocks are the brightest.followed by fire nocks then tracer.Having said that,I hate the design of the lumenock. The fire nock looks the best.Tracers come second to the fire nocks.Alot of reviews say that half of them do not work right out of a new package and are not the brightest.IMO 1.fire nocks,2.tracer,3.lumenocks.Only down side of fire nocks is the price!!!!54$ for 3.come on that outrageous.but i think im gonna try a pack.

I use the tracers. I reviewed the others before deciding on the tracers just because of the blinking mode on them. Believe me, it really helped me find my doe last year after getting the pass through arrow and carring it to the down doe in a thicket and then coming back way after dark with help to retrieve her. After dark, that thicket looked different and the blinking tracer led us right to her as we went into the thicket way off until I saw that red nock blinking. Sooo, I'm for the blinking tracer and it is bright enough for my old eyes.

you may want to a take a look at:

But I think this one single picture will answer your questions:
http://www.crossbow-review.com/Revie...r/DSC_0348.JPG

Yes, Firenock is the brightest offers a centered led and replaceable battery(now in many colors also)
Easton gives diffused light non replaceable battery
Lumenok mechanical activation, opne piece non replaceable battery

Yes some lighted knocks are brighter then others, but remember that the brighter they are, the more energy they will use which means that your battery life will be shorter. There are always trade offs for either longer battery life or brighter light.

I do not know very much about the Easton Tracer knocks. I have the Orginal tracers before Easton bought them out. They did have a replaceable battery, actually they were very easily replaceable in the field. The blinking light (after 15 seconds) was a great feature because the blinking light was easier to spot then a steady light.

All you gotta do is turn off the volume and use your eyeballs. You can see four types of nock side by side. That's all it takes. Who give's a rat's arse where the video came from?

Easton took a really good product and ruined it. They somehow managed to cut the brightness and did away with the replaceable batt. I f the firenock would blink they would have the perfect lighted nock I do like the flashing feature of the tracer
