on the way for this w/e. Snow, temp in teens (F) for our rifle opener on Sat. It was a balmy 56 F at 6:30 AM as I sat, gloveless, in the stand. No deer but did see a Fisher. Cool animal. The weather change should get the bucks moving. Very little activity so far. Here's hopin'

Good luck Boris,Iam getting out for the 1st time in 26 yrs with the rifle but 1st I need to clear a beaver dam in the culvert,will spend Thurs,Fri night waiting with the Marlin 60 to eliminate a few beavers so the water stays low if weather permits,thinking about breaking out the ML this yr too,also hopeing to fill my ND bow tag too by Jan 5th.
