Well, I whacked a big doe last evening at 7:00PM. I shot her at 36 yards with a two bladed Rage BH hooked to a Tenpoint Pro Elite carbon arrow with lighted tracer nock. The Rage did a perfect job on the double lung shot with huge entry and exit holes and massive blood trail. I really like those tracer blinking nocks because they come in handy when you're by yourself and following a blood trail. They mark the last blood spot until you find next blood and so on. She would bleed heavy some then very little and more again. LOL. Anyway I am old and was alone so the little red light helped this old man find her.
This also was my first hunt this year as it's been so warm until lately. Hope this is an indicator of my good luck for the rest of the season. Sorry, but I didn't take any pictures of her. Next time for sure.

I hope when you whack a buck you put up some pics!! I hope you thump one a nice as lasts years. A big 9 pt if I remember right which I probably don't.
Did you have a chance to use the " BuddyBo Gotta Go " I'm thinking on making one up for use in the truck.
Well if 10/13/08 ever comes around I'm gonna go hunting too. The seasons over before I even get to hunt.
