Default Six Point

About 7:00 I saw a doe moving to my left but had no shot,She was being followed by a small rack buck, still no shot.
They both disappeared and a few minutes later the buck came out in my shooting lane.
He was oblivious to the blind.
I use a primos trigger stick and leveled the crosshairs on him.
He was quartering to me.The G5 Montec hit him right behind the left shoulder went all the way through and exited about 10" behinf d the left shoulder.
The shat was 25 - 27 yards and the deer went 25 - 35 yards.
He is a six point

I was hunting out of a Doghouse Ground Blind

If you look at the picture the deers eyes have some sort of skin problem and swelling around them.
He has the same growths on his chin and over most of his body.
I called the Game Warden and they took the deer for testing but I kept the rack.
I dont know which looks worse him or me!

I was shooting an Excalibur Equinox
Boo string
Groundpounder quiver mount
G5 Montec
GT Lazer II's

Atta Boy Scott. It's always nice to see what they look like. I guess I am more particular than you though. I hold off on the small ones and settle for nothing less than 130 inches. I would have dropped that little fella in the blink of an eye!!

If the game wardens took the deer for testing does that mean you get another tag?? Or is that not a concern in your neck of the woods. Nice job budsky. Gotta love those Boo strings. Mines been on for ages and the serving looks as good as new!Bet your glad you shoot an Excal.

No tags to deal with here

You'll get no argument from me.
Uncle Ted said "anytime you can go to the woods andkill a whitetail deer with any kind of archery equipment you have done something"

He has great respect for the animals as do I.
I have a video of my recovery that I am trying to post but am having trouble and in my voive you can hear how excited I am.

ALL TROPHIES TO ME
