Good Bear Baits
They come in to my corn feeder but not regular what would bring them in better.
Thanks Martin |
RE: Good Bear Baits
:Dcheap dog food like "Old Roy" from Mal-Wart along w/ sardines in mustard works well for me. I get the sardines at Dollar General. Arkansas F & G uses them alone in their bear traps for nuisance ones they want to transplant. I also save bacon/cooking oil all year to pour around the barrels on the ground so the ones that do come in leave a scent trail back to the baits.

My buddy gets beaver carcasses from a trapper. The bear love them. You will need a good size freezer in order to store them though.

Martin, I'd say, he's in LOVE with that tree now! What a shot that would be. You could possible pin him to that tree with a well placed arrow. Good luck on him.
