Default Limbs Up or Down

I doubt there's any right or wrong answer to this but I'm very new to carrying a crossbow on a sling. How do you carry? With the limbs up over your shoulder or down by your side? Or do you sling it crosswise over your back like a back quiver?

I started out with it slung limbs up and decided it was a pain in the butt. Swapped it around to carry the thing with the limbs down by my hip so I could grab hold of a limb and use it to maneuver the limbs around and clear the brush while walking in the woods. Haven't tried the crosswise thing yet, but I've been considering giving it a try.

As long as you are carrying an xbow, it don't matter. Limbs up for me, but down in the bush.

Limbs up, scope pointing to the outside, string on my shoulder is the positon I find most comfortable for the longest without being in a carry bag. I also carry mine in the Excal padded case with lots of other stuff in it. Works well!

I carry my crossbows limbs down. Much easier to get through thick brush. The sling stud needs to be placed on the side of the buttstock for this. Bowtech Strykers and Desert Strykers come pre-drilled for this sling mounting location.

I can't handle this. Look at the limbs sticking out past the shoulder
