Is a crossbow too powerful for a 9 yr old to shoot?

my youngest daughter was 10 when she first shot mine and did just fine, sheobviously couldnt cock it herself or hold it out for long while aiming but other than that she did fine, my son is 13 and shoots mine all the time, he has no problems either...

I doubt that he/she will be able to cock it but if he/she can hold it up to aim it there would be no problem. Take a look at Ten Point Slider Makes a ideal CB for young people. You can adjust the draw weight so the CB and the oyungster can "grow" togther!
