RE: NUB to the forum and crossbows.
Right on, I was hoping that would be the case.

RE: NUB to the forum and crossbows.
The only thing I personaly have noticed about crossbows that have been cocked for long periods is that the serving and string tend to compress. This can accelerate serving wear a bit but I have never seen a bow take a "set" and loose power (at least not so you would notice) I am sure there have been instances in either extream hot or cold where an occasional limb delaminates, but this is fairly rare...

Excals have a cocking mech, I have one for my ExoMax.The Excals cocking mech fits onto the stock very fast setup, lightweight and removable. It has also been very durable.

I'm shooting a Terminator by Parker and a Vortex by Excal. Both great bows. But, will be taking a serious look at the new Parker Cyslone when it hits our store. Just 18" wide drawn, 6.5 lbs and 350m fps. Looks great. Package deal around $650. If it shoots as good as it looks, I WANT one!
