Man i havent had the exocet 5 days and i already returned the limbs to Dan Miller for warranty i was mostly shooting the cx hunters i have at 442 grains and cant understand why they went bad i got a Z crack on the inside of one, i first noticed the pock marks on the outside of the limbs and called Excal, but they said this was normal do to hand film dipping each limb but i'm not so sure they were defective from the start,so Danny gets them tommorow, still think i'm gonna stick with the 2216's i like the speed and little extra weight, whatta you guys think of this issue????

Are you sure it was glass and not the camo dip. The later is common. Normally you get glass letting loose on the face or back of the limbs not the belly(your side).

I know my paint chipped right away, or at lease it has that cracked look to it, but I soon realized it was just the camo coating and not the limb. Not sure if you would be the second or first one to have limb problems in here. It is not a common thing, but it is always a no questions asked and Excal takes care of it asap when it does.

yeah i know the fronts are the film coating pock marks but the underside was most certain a crack along the edge, i wrote Dan a note and specifically told him i DID NOT dry fire it, it just let loose on its own after i had cocked it,speed.......[&:]

Apparently the front of the limbs is what cracks first on a dry-fire. I don't think they really care anyways. The corners or edges can crack as well. I've heard that if the corners are to sharp and it is more likely to happen. I have five of these things and nothing exciting has happened yet. And like some here I have dry-fired enough times to compete for Dry-Fire King!
