I'd like to see them offer the Vixen with the gray riser & rail and black limbs & stock.........
Or any of the Excals for that matter.
The camo finish on my Phoenix doesn't seem to be as durable as the old black finish (paint?) on the Vixen I had years ago, so I'm not sure I buy the argument the camo was used because it's more durable.
I'm no bowmaking expert, but I know black fiberglass laminations are used on some traditional bows. If they can make black lams, why couldn't they make solid black limbs???? No finish but maybe a clearcoat (matte).

good ideas, but we all know Bill is going to get the most twang for the buck, lol. I'd pay a few bucks extra to get black limbs that didn't get Rustoleum on them, lol. I'm amazed they offered LH stocks even.

Danny Miller ixnayed my plans to paint a pair of my camo limbs. Not a durable idea according to him, but he offered to get me a set of unpainted from factory, now I just gotta find out if there's a spray paint that won't flake off. Any ideas guys?? Any bids on cobbled limbs for spares???? lololol.

I hate saying it but the Vixen limbs may end up to be the best limbs for this project.

Don't tell me you mean those black camo'd carved tips like on the VixenI sold Smoke? Got nothing against carved tips, lol, but it would be easier to get last years taxes back than pry that thing outta his hands. If I'd a knowed how bad he wanted it i coulda jacked the price up some!

"they also made black Vixen limbs with mag tips". A set of those would be dandy!! I'll ask Danny if he's got some.
