RE: Storing crossbow
I just store my bow in a soft case for travel. In the house it just hangs on the wall.
There are a few that use a double rifle hard case (plano I believe). All they do is remove the limb, riser asembly off of the rail. You can then just re-assemble and start shooting. The point of impact will not have changed any. You will not have to sight in again, I have seen this and can conferm that DIGGER assembled his bow and hit the target 5 out of 5 at 20 yards.

RE: Storing crossbow
TX,
During the off season I remove the dissapator pads, unstring, and I hang it by the stirrup. When I take the string off I tie the two ends together with a bread tie and I hang the stringso it doesn't untwist. during the season for hunting trips and trips to the range it goes in the padded soft case.
