It's last year's doe. Taken this morning and now wrapped up in the freezer. A 25 yrd shot and didn't react to the shot! Just walked for a minute or less and fell over!

Great Hunt, Big Deer !!! Happy for You !!!!
It is amazing how a animal like that can take a shot, and just walk off. It is something to see !!!!!
Upon teaching my very young son years ago on the great life of deer hunting. First deer I shot in front of him with a rifle, took that " death walk ", after the deer finally walked about thirty yards and just dropped over dead. My son looked up at me and said, " Daddy, do they always just walk over and lay down ".
I was shocked as I've ever been !!!!!

It depends on what area. Some areas there are tons of tags. I think some have six additionals (does). They get nocturnal pretty quick though. Now I want to take one with the recurve and one with the crossbow next! Iim not asking for too much am I? LOL!
