Biggest one of the season!!!
Had deer all over the place this am but no bucks. Had 3 big does each dragging around a BB and ayoung of the year doe. Thebig nannys sat back at 40 yards in the bruch stomping and fussing and would notcome in any closer.
After about 20 minutes I realized I would be just as happy with a sweet young thing as that old bag in the woods plus I could dragher out myself.
I thought about what would be a better management choice and guessed it made no difference at all.
I put my 38 lb Brittany in the picture along with the bow so you can tell what an easy drag it was.
This little girl gave me a 20 yard shot (thought it was more like 25) and i zipped her high but thru the sweet spot and she was down in sight. Nice clean kill and a fun morning PLUSI still have 6 doe tags and 2 buck tags and a long season ahead.
