2008
What would everybody like to see from TenPoint for 2008?
Thanks, Randy |
RE: 2008
Randy, what a question??? Of course but you know we're all in judgement mode and you know we'll be kind! Let's have at 'er!

RE: 2008
REEEEEEEEEEEEEEECURRRRRRRRRRRRRVE...:D;);).I would be 1st on the list..........

RE: 2008
Has Ten Point ever considered a speed adjustable scope like Excal's Varizone and Lumizone? I know it is a problem with some Horton's multi line scopes not being right on with the 30 and 40 marks, not sure if some Ten Point scopes have the same problem on different CB's or not. Have you guys ever considered it?

RE: 2008
Ya know Randy, this is getting nasty! Lets have it!
|
RE: 2008
I'm asking not telling. I want to know what people want us to do in 2008.
|
RE: 2008
Now that you've proven that I cannot read! LOL! Hmmmmmm better watch myself here! A recurve! A recurve! A recurve! Did I say that right?
To be serious Randy, a recurve is certainly what most guys I know want. I think you TenPoint people want the confirmation. I know it will be a quantum step better than that "H" manufacturer! It will be a no-brainer for you guys to make a more graceful bow than the "M" guys too! The challenge will be you know what. Having said that I am betting if it is close in price to you know who, I'll be inline behind James! |

RE: 2008
I hard time deciding between a Excal and the Ten point. The two deciding factors were price and recurve. ten point is a nice bow and a recurve would be nice addition. Just test the damn thing and dont come out with another Legacy!!!!!!!

RE: 2008
I would like to see a youths bow, no reputable company makes one, 10 Point would make something a youngster could be proud of.
Also, it would be nice to see a company put some development into a scope that incorporates a range finder, with universal mounts it would provide a secondary (and welcomed) line for an already well established name in crossbows. I could write up the wholeevolution myself! By the way Randy, it is very respectable for you to ask in the first place. *EDIT* I see Dan already addressed the youths (or small statured person) bow.. I need to learn to read closer.. |
RE: 2008
A better way to let the bow down after a hunt than shooting it.

RE: 2008
I agree with martin about letting the bow down after hunting with one addition. I don't like the loud click, click, click when cocking the bow so I have started putting a finger on the selector lever only slightly to stop this anoying click when cockingmy bow. It work perfectly and doesn't alter the cocking one bit. That loud click could scare off game before light so that's why I started doing the silence cocking thingy. And since I leave my bowlocked up in my box stand all the time, I have to shoot it at dark to unload it. This loud shooting also could scare game away so an uncocking method would be worth it's weight in gold to me. Also one other thing, I'd buy a new ten point bow with these silence toolsAND if it had a thumb hole wooden laminated stock to go with it's good looks. To me, that would be the utter most perfect crossbow on the market. But I'd hate to see the price tag on thisbaby. Oh and Randy, you know I'm a ten point shooter with the QX4. LOL. I love it.

RE: 2008
The youth bow is a great Idea. I just bought a Pheonix for my son but it is still too big for him to shoot free handed. He has to have a rest...
A Recurve Youth Bow!!!!!! |
RE: 2008
Guys, get an Excal style rope cocker for uncocking those bows. If you have a dry fire inhibitor, you can fool it w/ #2 wood pencil, lol. There's a video of doing this on Excals site, but if you can't find it pm me, I'll hunt it up. They uncock a heck of a lot easier than they cock, you will be quietly amazed, lol.

RE: 2008
All good ideas. Keep them coming!
|
RE: 2008
One thing for sure I do not want Randy is extreme speed. I would like an IBO speed of around 330 or so. Also the same string length as everyone else.
|
RE: 2008
here here 305-330.......
I WANT A RECURVE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! then i can have a 2ndhat :D:D:D:D:D........ |
RE: 2008
Randy, I count 5 different improvements, may I suggest that you do a poll and find which are most important to the crossbow users.
Martin |
RE: 2008
It is very respectable of you Randy. I think the time has come for a lighter recurve. I guess that counts as two items on my agenda. If the price was lower alsoyou would make many more followers.
I have a TP and love it. |
RE: 2008
Not an engineer, but what would be the possibility of designing a compound crossbow that does not require a press to change out the cables and string?
I, too, think a TenPoint recurve would be an interesting concept.:D |
