Well once again I feel like Gohmer on the Andy Griffith show. I had no clue about the UV light stuff. I started washing my clothes in a scent free detergent that I bought out of teh hunting section so maybe it has the UV killer in it. I will ahve to look when I get home....Thanks for the info

I have done a lot of reading on this subject in the past 24 hours, seems there is a product called "Sport Wash" that gets a lot of good reviews.

I have a UV flashlight I would be happy to pass around if anyone is interested..:D

Walmart sells "sport wash" and spray UV blocker.
After several washings in baking soda , maybe all the mfg UV brightners will be washed out?

I read the sport wash will wash out the UV, but I would have to see that for myself. Also, I read that sport wash will keep waterproof clothes waterproof, and help restore clothes that once were waterproof.

Have any of you used just the spray? Season opens tomarrow morning here. I only washed my hunting clothes in scent free detergent. Maybe I should spray them with the UV blocker from Wally-World. Especially since the first few days I'm going to be hiding on the edge of a corn field. Then I may head out to a different location and hunt from a stand or blind. There'salso some huge antlers right behind the apartment building I live in.....lolMight be worth checking out. It's right outside the city limits.Rural Town Indiana. The deer come right into town here!!! Next thing they'll be knocking on the sliding patio door, wanting to come in for cornflakes!thanks

Funny this post came up....Just had my wife wash all my hunting clothes in it on Friday got the UV wash at wally world.....1st wash since last year.....
