What is the best distanceto sightmy rifle in at ? Im shooting a win 270 with 130 gr. ballistic silvertips.

That depends somewhat on how you hunt and what you're shooting. Assuming you're shooting ammo at around 3,000 fps, at deer-sized target, and you'll be shooting out to 300 yards, I'd sight it in at about 1.5" to 1.75"s high at 100 yards with that load. That will give you a point bland aim (no holdover) out to 300 yards.
PS I love shooting my crossbows....almost as much as shooting the 16 calibers I load for.

This has Nothing to do with your question.I have one for you.
I am asuming by your on line name you are a turkey hunter,
Where is the best aim point to shoot for with a crossbow?

Turkey aim point: Just forward of where the top of the leg attaches to the body, where the life support organs reside.
That asssumes you're using a standard broadhead not one of the decapatating Guillotines.

No wrong forums here, just an occasional wrong attitude and it's plain to see yours is just fine! We get pretty relaxed here and talk about all kinds of different things, hi-jack [unintentionally] each others threads some, lol, but that's what makes this forum one of the best!!
