try www.gunsandammomag.com/ballistics you'll get a nice printable ballistics chart for any caliber. using it, you can figure where to zero your scope for any range. good luck.:)

Limbhanger, when sighting in my brother's 270s, I sight them in 2 inches high at 100 yards, he won't shoot past 200 and he is probably sighted in for about 225 yards...

For my .243, I sight in 2 1/2 inches high at 100 yards, its dead on at 250 and about 4 inches low at 300...

I know some guys that will take a high velocity centerfire rifle like the .270 and sight in dead on at 100 yards...That's like putting rabbit ears on a digital TV...
