I read the reviews on these broadheads and was also told by a friend to try them. Wow !!! These things are awsome Deadly Acurate. I shot through a cured ham that was bad out the backside and into a stump complete damage is all I can say. Dont shoot anything with these that you dont want DEAD !! Cant wait for the season to start.

I called Slick Trick Friday morning about one of my new ferrules being slightly bentand not allowing me to insert the blades. Got a package from them yesterday with 2 new ferrules and one of their 4" round stickers.

Really great customer service they have, I called them and told them one was slightly bent and the lady didn't hesitate one second to ask for my info to send out a replacment for it.

Now to try them out on deer... Come of Oct. 6th

Was just curious, but did the ham have a bone in it? And did you hit the bone with the slick? Just curious since rib and bones are what really make the difference in a head and not just the soft tissue.

Jason, there were pics posted on another forum on HNI last year of tests through bone, scapula on a deer or hog, IIRC correctly. Still sharp w/ no blade damage. Like all the rest of us,I got an Excal on someones word, then found my arrows of choice on someones word, then the Slicks, again on someones word. Found all three to be all I need, but can well understand the experiment bug, lol, kept me down to pocket change most of my adult life, lol.

edited to add: Somewhere there were pics of a deers rib cage w/ slick threw a rib, looked like it went through it like a popsickle stick.
