Does anybody hunt bears with an xbow in north carolina? If so do you have any tips for a do it your self hunt? Here in carolina you don't have to draw a tag and I muzzle loader hunt every year at pocossin (the coast) with Mike and connie knowles (conmans outfitter) and the area is teaming with 500-600 or better bears.

would say that bear is every bit of 400 pds.looks like male also.

I'm thinkin' about giving bear hunting a try within the next year. Just waiting to become a resident here in the next few months and get proficent w/ my new xbow. Then maybe I'll give her a go.
