Default New GPS on the market.

This looks like a very impressive evolutionary step for GPS's.

I love the concept about the actual terrain photos of your location. I think its the direction alot of gps's are gonna go. But I have heard a few bad reviews on the Onix. I'm gonna wait for garmin or a well known gps company to come out with a model before buying one.

Also you must pay for the download of the maps. GPS are getting like a inkjet printer. They get you on ink and now I guess maps are the next meal ticket for them.

It's a good concept if done right. But there are lots of problems with this unit and the aerials that it uses.

Well, I think that if I got it and it didn't work then I would be lost and incapable of letting you all try it..
But I would be willing to give it a shot, I always have my GPS with me and on when I am in the bush. I like the thoughts of aerial photography too, but if the unit has issues than it is not the unit for me.

I think it will be more like Goggle Earth(gogel, goggle whatever)were the pics wil just be a download and not real time ofcoarse, maybe, but the gps part will be good.did not read about it but if its topo also ,might be worth it.
I have a hard enough time with everything my Maggellan will do .
