Time will tell. When I was in Forestry School in the mid 70's we were told that the eastern cougar was possibly alive but few and far between. Lately there has been more and more sightings in Ontario including one mauling. Freinds of mine near Aliston (an hour north of Toronto and just north of Holland Landing) have seen cougar tracks and reported it to the MNR. The MNR are tracking the reports and we will see some day soon I'm sure. The eastern cougar was very much alive at one time in Ontario and may be back.
I do think the head of this animal if it is indeed so an animal looks a bit odd but then again if it is a dead one then well maybe it doesn't look like a live one, LOL! Interesting all the same.
