Just finished serving my first string(I think). Thanks to DNK's instructions, and everyone's input. Practiced (kept redoing)on a string I won't be shooting. Have one question? How do ya know if it's any good???

Shoot with it, if it holds up it is good, if it doesn't then try again.

David hit the nail on the head. When you are happy then reduce your serving lenght. I am farting around with 3" of serving. One bench mark is if you cannot put your finger nail in between the serving layers and or move it then you are doing better than the factory already. How about a picture? Hmmm?
