i love kitties.....but feral cats can for sure wipe out small game in an area. you can either do the sss.....or live trap and take the cat to the pound and they will handle it. good luck.

I've removed more than a dozen of the things . The pound around here won't take feral cats . If you trap them - take them somwhere with a large coyote population . But if I were you ,, I'd go cat hunt'n . Take your live traps and set them somwhere with alot of rabbits . Bring them to your property ,,, and leave them alone for at least 8 months . They should repopulate the place in no time .

I have some live traps set up for the cats, set them yesterday.. I will check on them this morning.

My son and I spent the better part of the morning coyote hunting, his lesson of the day was working our home brew decoy and calling.. Would a live cat on a leash be considered inhumane as a decoy?

Disclaimer-bad joke in admittedly bad taste

I was turkey hunting and in the blind waiting for a gobbler to show up. Had a couple of hens out there and they suddenly got spooked and ran/flew away. About 1 min later a cat comes stalking across the field following the scent trail of the hen that ran 20 yds by my blind. I took a few seconds and explained to the cat that that type of behavior is not acceptable. He complied 100% and hasn't done it again. Point is they go after anything and have no place in the ecosystem. Any time, any way I can remove them I do. Besides if you're creative you can find a use for them.
