yea, that's just smokepole!....
he thinks everything sucks `cept what he has!
If you had the exact same thing he had, he'd still say yours sucked!
lmao..

I have a Horton and I'm hitting half dollars at 30 yrds with it. (and I just started a few months back.)
I do like the excals though, I'll prolly upgrade next year.
But the Horton setup I have will Definately get the job done. Just more maintenance and shop time. (unless you have your own bow press) and about 1 1/2 - 2lbs heavier.

You don't need a press to change strings/reserve on a Horton.I wouldn't shoot a Middleton if they came in Cracker Jacks, think they ripped off Excal's design and are nothing more than a clone. Apparently alot of others feel the same as I do, in over two years you can count the owners on the net one one hand. Any company bringing out recurves is gonna feed at the last faucet on the sows belly compared to Excal. They have nearly a quarter century of track record to overcome, let alone equal, lol. Experiment away boys, I'll take Excal for $400, Alex!!

Clones, copies, fakes, despicable business practice, dirty tactics, and certainly not a respectable way to make money. I don't care if it is a crossbow or a soda can, to take another mans work and claim it as your own is low.
I have nothing against the bow, I just detest what it stands for.

I'm guessing their first Excal model was the "Relayer"? Couldn't have been a 10 pt, they weren't around yet, pretty much just leaves Barnett and Horton. Doubt Bill T would copy anything on a Barnett, which leaves Horton?? Hotburn is the resident Horton guru, So, Hey Jason!!! Did the Relayer interchange parts on any Horton model that you know of?? Like same stocks or rails, maybe risers??
