Don't need any tool other than yer string changer. You have 2 brace lines about an 1 1/8" apart. The one closer to the limbs gives you more speed than the upper line. I shoot the lower line.

Then I too am on the upper line, it would not be possible to get my brace height closer to the limb side with the string that is not twisted at all..
I always try to keep my strings on the line closest to the trigger.

I keep mine closest to the limbs opposite of you and the trigger. They will stretch some in 100 shots, the more it stretches the closer it moves toward the limbs!

Two strings of the same material at the same brace height should provide same POI, right?
What does twisting do, besides shortening the string? Does it have any other affect?

I am betting that it is becasue of the weight. The heaviest one will be slower to accelerate and give you a lower arrow speed causing a lower POI.

The speed of each string should tell all!

I may take you up on that, I will just come get it.. I think knowing how fast the arrows are travelling would help me understand a bit better.
Before going down that road I need to get a firmer grip on this whole string issue, I think I may be making a mountain out of a molehill.. Also, I have ordered a couple of Comfy Bears strings, should be here next week if all goes well, that will give me a better reason to clock my arrows..
Thats a great offer Don.

Strings you have the excel and its 12-15 fps slower than the fff string. Mine were only 3/16 th shorter than the one that has been on CB. So i am sure it will stretch to match the one that has been on CB. Once twisted up it should be real close to same POI.

The old "broken in" string is the shortest, completely untwisted it sits on the upper line. The new one is longer, probably getting pretty wore in by now, close to 100 shots on it, twisted like crazy (in comparison) I have it sitting now at exactly 1 1/8" from the riser. I will readjust to that string and assume my old one that won't allow any twists was manufactured too short. I have it set up great for accuracy, but it gave me no room for adjustment.
