Sooner or later, we gotta talk knives!! My favorites are Pumas. Here's some pics of three of them I own. I got that big old Bowie in case I ever need to stick one ala Reb style, lol. No pics of these, but next on my list is Shrades, Sharp Finger, followed by their drop point w/ gut hook. Both will hold an edge forever!!

Dan, nice knives you have there!

I have many, but here are the one's of my oldest and favorites. The one to Left is a CutCo that I bought in 1967, the one in the Middle is a Kabar that Ibought in 1970 and the one on the Right is a Schrade that I boughtin 1980.

Don, it's 40yrs oldand it still shaves! It's not Stainless, it's Solingen Steel. I never sharpen my knives, all I do is hone them and then strap them.

Picked up a pair of Redhead "lifetime" socks, guaranteed for life, if you ever decide you don't like them they will give you your money back, all whopping $12.
Decided to give a pair a try, I would recommend these things.. Put 8 kilometers on a pair in a pair of rubber boots, feet were warm dry and comfortable.
Nothing miraculous, just a good product.

After Awshuks heard I was fumbling around with a Fletcher designed to do one vane at a time he recommended I try the Arizona EZ Fletcher..
Got it yesterday, this thing makes fletching into child's play! I did up 4 arrows last night in record time, each and every one of them looks perfect. And more importantly they are very consistent.
