DNK-what kind of target is that? Got to be a good one and appears to be home made. Where did you buy it or how did you construct it?
It was distributed by Excalibur but they are no longer made. I believe they are or were working on getting them made again. Great cheap targets but not home made. They weigh a ton.

Maybe there's more gravity in Canada.
Gravity is an average 9.78 m/s2 at the equator. It is about 0.5% higher at the poles at an average 9.83 m/s2. You're right. Next question is does that equate to 3" at 30 yds?

That target pic looks like somebody wants to buy some new bolts. That's what those other spots on the face are for ! LOL

These are my shots from just now. Excal standard string with GT2's w/5" vanes that are in the right stuff excal pack. The shot where i started measuring (the top one) is 20 yds, the second is 30 and the third is 40. These were shot out of my phoenix w/ peep sight off a shooting bench. Oh and the tips are 100gr feild tips. By the way i was not aiming for the bullseye i wanted to stagger them to show the difference better, and plus my target isnt big enough to start from the center

Dnk: I think Bob was referring his post to Impossible.

Impossible: Not sure I follow your post w/ targets. If you aimed at the duct tape center every shot and just moved the target from 20 to 30and then to 40, it's all clear. You're sighted in closest to 40 yds. At 10 yds w/ peep and pin you are gonna be close no matter what range you have the bow sighted for. Dnk's target shot w/ scope shows what's really happening. Try sighting your bow in [if you want to play] dead nuts at 20, then move the target to 30 and 40, and I think you will see what we're trying to say. I think Dnk uses a method, can't recall the name where you can sight in at a certain range and be good so many yards short or long. Maybe he'll post it when he see's my reference to it.
