Pajay,

Yes, Goliath was stolen but later recovered and returned to original owners in Pa.
Hole in Horn buck was presumed to be hit by a train as it was found dead nearsome railroad tracks by a chainlink fence.
One of the guys in the group, who discovered it, claimed in later yearsthe hole in the antler was caused by a piece of the chainlink fence being imbedded in the soft tissue in that areaof the antler.
Most people, over the years, thought the hole was caused by a .22 caliber bullet hole in a poaching attempt until the story about the chainlink fence was told.
To me, the Hole in the Horn is the most awesome Whitetail that ever lived and the most awesome looking.
Agreed 100%, BB&T sucks.

Money, money It's amazing to me that society covets these hunks of bone and everybody says I'd never sell. First you can say that cause you don't have a 250" plus buck but if you did and the checks came in I tend to think everybody has their price. It was estimated that a large buck like that can bring in upwards of 500,000 in product endorsements alone.Big bucks to be had in big bucks

I can't agree with comparing this wild, taken in fair chase, buck with ANY pen raised buck on a tightly controled diet.

What if this Amish buck had all the high protien feed ect. of that pen raised Goliath buck? How much larger would his rack have been then?

A very fine buck indeed. Could this be a world record for X bow? Does anyone keep X bow records?

I intended to quote this post, for the pics, clicked the wrong button. But just consider how much larger this buck would have been on a controled diet & without preditors or fighting for domanace.

Does anyone know what this amish buck scored?

ORIGINAL: getblown5.9

true, a monster taken in amish country with a cross bow on opening day this year.
