Thats with 494gr. 2219's 20" long. I think i can get that weight down to 450gr. by using carbon inserts and those 2" Blazer vanes. That should pick up 9 fps, =288 fps. If i cut them from 20" to 18" may pick up another 6 fps. So best outlook is about 295 fps![:-][

Smoke: Glad they are workin out for ya. I lost 20 fps on the max w/ those two strings, but not near that much on the phoenix. I kinda got a hang up from varmit rifle days, one load works best, and have transposed that theory to xbow arrows, so I'd rather have mine all the same rather than try to remember which does what. I have to admit I'm tempted to try other ones from time to time, like fletch vs vanes [supposedly better accuracy] and those 2" blazer deals Dnk likes, but so far have resisted. Got a $9.95 Lee Loader once that ended up costing over $1500, lol, so maybe you see my point?

Got to admit, Blazer 2" amazed me, their flight was very good..By Bohnings estimates they "catch" my 4" feathers at about 25yards. They are 6to7fps slower than my 4" feathers at point blank range..Another thing they did was to clean them for you, and that was a good thing..Recommend they are put on with at least a twist,rh or Lh, your choice.
