I don't know about the black and blue sholders, but I love the squirrel pic. you got there. Looks like her would be a bit tuff to eat. LOL

no, i look that way b/c i shoot so much and that string isnt the easiest thing to get up.:Dbut seriously it feels like a good shotgun in the arm. even if i put it up hard against my shoulder it still kicks good.

RE: Ouch

Your serious are you?????? You're not being more of a putz than you normally are? In all seriousness can you pull back a 60 lb bow yet?

That is quite the pull technique there Christine

Dnk 07-26-2006 09:28 PM

RE: Ouch

Ah...Christine maybe you should shoot a xbow? or one of those semi clear geen bows with the white plastic grips? LOL. Just kidding. Fifty pounds is not really low so thats pretty good esp pulling on an abrupt cam. Pretty funny expressions on your face. Looks like you are stuggling less than the rodent describes himself drawing a bow, well according to what he says! I didn't see you're tongue out at all! Just grinning.:)

RE: Ouch

The big difference is in the cams. My old hunting bow is a 12 year old round wheel XI demon. (a cheapy bow even back then)

I can draw the Bowtech back like a normal (well almost normal) person now. Just took quite a bit of getting used to. Using a release is a new trick for me too.

I've never shot a crossbow. (well beside some sort of Nerf-like crossbow toy) I'd probably have bad form with one of those too. [:-]

41" axle to axle... itty bitty round wheels. :D

RE: Ouch

isnt much to shooting a crossbow. just sit there and keep a good rest and hold steady on the target untill you hear it hit your target. it's so easy.

Ok Palsiewalsie. That is misleading. So you just pick the bow up and start shooting bullseyes? Yes the crossbow is just as easy as a compound to shoot just pick it up pull back the string and let it go! How about hitting the target?

RE: Ouch

well after you buy all the after market parts, scopes, bolts, find the right grain for your bow, mark your serving, make sure everything is tight, and some other stuff. then you gotta worry bout the basics. sorry;)

Dnk 07-27-2006 10:11 AM

RE: Ouch

No need to be sorry pal. You stand corrected!

I'm just guessing here, but am willing to bet he took some stiff jabs from the 79 year old granny over who's getting the 200+ buck he's sandbagging.
