I understand the reverse recoil, that doesn't stop inercia! Wether its foward or backward. I will agree that cheaper scopes can, will and may fail. They do the same with heavy recoiling rifles. What xbow scopes have is the range setup for xbows, 20 to 50 yds. in markers! Stata lines! I will let y'all know if my rifle scope survives on my Phoenix. I spect it has more recoil than the compounds!
