Yup i will take my spade with me this morning and start to dig my food plot for the deer. [:@]I have been putting that hard work off, duh! [
]Now its fer sure getting warm and i will be sweating, much to thejoy of the skeeters! [&o]I may just do the one about 15'x30', that ought to wear me out. I will be doing that fer next several mornings. Guess i will plant alfalfa.[:-] I would make 2 plots if i had a rototiller, maybe next year. I will see how this first one does of drawing the deer in the area, so i can have more and better shots at them!
Snurkeys didn't show up, so i turned over 15' wide and 5' deep so fer. Hey about 5 more days and i can hoe it and rake it down. Then i will fert. it then plant it in the next 10 days.

My furry friend, tractors cost more money than i make in a month, even a used one. There maybe a tiller here and there but most of these tight wads want as much fer a broke or used one as they do fer a new one. When money is tight, then this old fat man does it the old hard way. Been doing it like that all my life. Progress is good specially if you can afford to change with the times. I will get there, i just have a few other priorities that have to come first. You ever get married and have children you will learn about budgets. Now while you are young just enjoy life, its sweet!

I was in Home depot today they rent them $25 for 4 hrs. I didn't look for a full day price. You can do a lot of tilling in 4 hrs. A tip is to rent it at noon they usually will let you bring it back the next morning. Check out other rental places. A lot will rent for 1/2 a day (4 hrs) and you don't have to bring it back until the next morning. I have even got stuff saturday for a 1/2 day rental and because they aren't open on Sunday I got to keep it until monday morning!
