I finally got out to shoot today, tiny breezy but what the heck, I shot my Horton for the following... 8, 9, 8, 10, 9 from a rest for a score of 44 first time. Second time I shot 9, 10, 7, 8, 8 for a 42, I know the wind got that 7 but that is the way it goes when ya hunt too so I figured that is fair.

I scored down if less than about 70% of the bolt was not in the higher area, one of the 8s was pretty iffy for a 9... but I scored it low, what the heck was a bit of fun anyway.

Also hope I didnt cheat, I shot about 6 3 shot groups (18 bolts)at a target before I put up the target posted. I dont remember if that was specifically allowed or prohibited.

If you want to know if you cheated or not ask The Squirrel, he's an expert!

I went back and checked, nothing was said about weather it was kosher to shoot a little first or if we were supposed to shoot cold so I dont think it was cheating to have taken some practice rounds at a different target first.

It has been almost 3 months since I last shot, had to work the cob webs out, and during hunting season I never go more than a week or 10 days without shooting so I figure that puts me on form with how I would hunt.

Lets do a switchup and go with the 100 yard target the scoring on it goes from 13 down to 2 ,, and it is the same size as the 25 yard taget I have to print them out in black and white cant afford a new color cartridge for my printer since I bought my Tenpoint LOL .. I printed them out in black and white and just colored in the small center square .. now just need to know how many to print up..
and we can do the 30 yard shoot also will just give me an excuse to go to the proshop ,, it only cast me I think 3 bucks to use their range for an hour Im just not real fond of their lighting it messes with my eyes, but I am game..

Wow! I've been following this thread, and there's a whole lot of talkin' for the amount of shootin' going on
Had a friend once (just one - just once) who used to say, "Who has more fun than us crazy people?" Sounds like you guys are having lots of fun with the banter going back and forth. Wish I had an XBow so I could join you!
