Rebel Hog the difference on stings, is actually how they are made. The regular string is made of dacron and is looped then twisted as in recurves and has ends and middle served. The Flemish is much better as it is 2 strings twisted and spliced and then served it is made of fast flight. Also so that every one should know, you do not put deck and string wax on mainframe. Put it on center serving of string! Yes its so much better to be able to twist string and wax it and keep on shooting and shooting!

Gee i feel like i am becoming senile, as i should have put this in with other post. Al y'all know the trouble you have pulling out yer arrows from target. Excalibur makes the flat nocks that are drilled and the hole is threaded fer a T handle. You screw T handle in arrow nock hole and pull it out of target!

Kinda makes sense doesn't it smokepolehall? Dahhhh simple too....strings running back and forth make me think about a spider web. Ewwwww! BTW I use a dacron flemish string.... they seem to last for ever. I have an extra couple anyone want one? I'll mail it to ya, even you Squirrel, then ya can have some kinda good xbow part to keep in your pocket to give you confidence in the field!
