You guys (stace is included of course)

I just want you guys to know that I think that this is the best forum in existance. Just think about when one of our forum members was being attacked. Please keep it alive! Keep posting, share humor, ideas, problems or what ever! There are tons of forums out there and I think this is the most together "family" around. One day this forum may become a large one with a hundred, maybe hundreds or more members. Just remember it like it is now.... now I am going to cry with my femin....still can't say it...Jason help me out.....LOL.... you are all great people!

Come on, Don! Get a hold of yourself and stop using up all the Kleenex. That stuff costs money, you know.

However, I tend to agree with your sentiment. This is an excellent crossbow site and it certainly has a kaleidoscope of interesting personalities (Kleenex soakers included). I am somewhat amazed at how quickly it got off the ground and how dedicated the users are to all of the good things about hunting and the very special folks that participate.

I do wish that Stacey would get out there a take some more animals, but I suspect that will happen soon enough. I certainly feel sorry for a lot of critter now that she got turned on to the crossbow. I toast the crew Hunting.Net crossbow site and I toast Todd and his crew for adding our sport to his site. Thanks, Todd.

I cant say I agree more!! I have felt alot of comradery and friendship in here also. I is great how you can develop a friendship and a sense of loyalty to people you have never and may never meet! I think the next two or three months will be great on here for all of us regulars but I do worry about what it may get like once hunting season gets here. There will be lots of people posting and things could get not as personal or maybe to personal in a bad way. Eaither way I too think this is the best site ever and cant wait till fall so we can all share more great and new stories.

Wait just a dadburned minute!!!!! You mean this is a new forum???? I've been on the internet for about two years now, and I've done a lot of google crossbows...lol. I have visited this site off and on for at least the last year, I posted my link to thedisabledlife. I have that site, and one other "home" site that I'm a regular on, but when it came right down to it, I went where I was useful. Dan...we visit many of the same sites, and dnk....well, what can I say.:)I just wrote a very long tribute to all my internet friends and what you all mean to me on another forum. I feel the very same thing here. We can stand together, or crumble alone. Make the most of what you see and feel. Dont hold back. You may miss the opertunity to change your life. And BTW....CROSSBOWS RULE!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D

I will give a hearty Here Here and a Huzzah to the comraderie on this site.

I spent 24 years in the military none of which was anywhere close to home. I thought my bow hunting days were over till I found out I could use a Crossbow here in Ohio.

My right shoulder just wont take the repetition of shooting a regular bow anymore, at least not enough to stay in practice where I would be confident of a clean kill with a bow. My conscience wont let me hunt in a method where harvesting game may not be to the level it should, so a Horizontal Bow is just the ticket for me even though I am not considered handicapped. Just that type of repetitive motion does me in.

I feel sorry for folks like myself in other states where you either cant use a CB or have to have a handicapped license to do so, and I think it is ridiculous.

Our biggest challenge is education for folks that think a Crossbow means we can kill out to 100 yards+ and all that nonsense, and our best group of allies lies right here. God Bless all and keep spreading the word.

Stacey - The crossbow forum on Hunting.net has been added since the begging of the year. (Anyone, Please correct me if I am wrong). Hunting.Net has been around for a really long time. One of the very first hunting sites.

Where did you post your piece about your friends on the internet? I would like to read it without tracking it down. Dang time constraints, you know.

DnK, I really enjoy this site and looking forward to continue to read all the informative posts. I have chatted with some of you guys on here on other sites and feel I have known them for a very long time. This is my home, away from home.:D
Like Tree Climber mentioned, many on here will never meet, but chatting with each other is good enough for me.
Still have'nt decided on a X-bow, but will soon. Have done a huge research on Excal, 10-PT and Barnett. I'm still looking at the Barnett, cause they are 9 miles from my place.:)They said if I had any problems what so ever, just stop by at no charge for any problems what-so-ever. They even give me instructions and expert advice on X-Bows at no charge. Very friendly Rep!:)

That's why I have'nt made a decision yet!:DIt's tempting to go with the Barnett, cause they are just a skip and a hop from me.:)
