RE: You guys (stace is included of course)
ORIGINAL: DJH ------- Stacey - The crossbow forum on Hunting.net has been added since the begging of the year. (Anyone, Please correct me if I am wrong). Hunting.Net has been around for a really long time. One of the very first hunting sites. Where did you post your piece about your friends on the internet? I would like to read it without tracking it down. Dang time constraints, you know. As for the post, it was in a reply to another poster on the first site I ever joined, and still consider it my "home". I'm Powercat over there.:) http://nugeboard.tednugent.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/248823.html |
RE: You guys (stace is included of course)
I for one am grateful for this sight and the friends I’ve met here. I completely agree that the best thing we can do as a group is to stick together and spread the word about the many benefits crossbows have brought to our sport.
Crossbows provide an opportunity too so many people that would otherwise have to stop hunting due to age or physical limitations. Let’s be honest here. I’ll use my wife as an example. She doesn’t hunt nor does she have the desire to. However if she did she simply doesn’t posses the strength to draw a 60 pound compound bow back and shoot it. I’m sure she’s not the only girl that would struggle with that. Many women enjoy the outdoors just like anyone else does. The crossbow is a tool that anyone can use effectively and it opens the door for everyone wishing to enjoy this sport. When I argue my point I do not argue it for myself. I am capable of hunting with any weapon. I argue my point for those that can not. |
