if you live near Bass-Pro or Cabelas , check out there place.they have different ones you can look at and shoot.
I like Barnett, thats why they have several different ones.the wife and I have the Barnett quad 300's and like them very well.
there are some real good bows out there.

For small to medium game nearly any xbow will do , for deer and larger save up for a better quality one such as an Excalibur , Ten Point , etc . If you get one over 150# get a cocking aid , all real heroes use them instead of tearing their back muscles .

Without knowing your budget I'll just tell you what I paid for mine. I bought a brand new Horton Team Real Tree 175 that came with a quiver, red dot scope and four field arrows with tip at the Sportsmans Guide on line and paid $270.00

The Sportsmans Guide (www.sportsmansguide.com) has a real good deal on the Team Realtree Horton #175 kit. It is the crossbow, quiver with 4 bolts and a red dot sight. I picked one up and it shoots nice - got to get some limbsavers and a case for it now.
