I have never bought a crossbow and I’m not familiar with the various brands. I want to buy one and am hoping to get some advice.
Sportsman’s Guide has an Explorer TR175 with a red dot scope, a four bolt quiver and four arrows for $270.00 Is that a decent bow.
I don’t have to have something fancy but would like to buy something decent that will last. What do you think?

Check out the Explorer 175 on this site. I have taken several animals with mine and think it is an excellent crossbow.

I had an old horton super mag that I used for along time and it was a great CB never any problems. This year I recently upgraded to the horton supermax 175 and love it. Horton bows have always been great for me and my faimly. my old bow and my new one are both nock busters.
