50 caliber machine gun pen
Hi, my name is Larry Barnes and I do bullet type pens in a variety of styles,
This 50 caliber bullet pen will make a great gift for the outdoorsman, military enthusiast, or gun collector, a truly great conversation piece. First developed for the Browning Machine gun in the late 1910's the cartridge used in this pen is still commonly used in the military today. The cartridge case is an authentic, once fired shell that has been cleaned and polished to a high gloss. The bullet has been hand turned on the lathe from a solid piece of cherry.
The pen mechanism opens and closes with a twist of the pen and uses a standard Cross type refill. Overall pen lenth is roughly 6" long.
