Put the boar in the same pen with the sow. Thats how you make bacon. LOL
I prefer fresh bacon to that cured stuff anyday.

mmmmmmmmm bacon,
this is a cure we use at work for salmon but it;s a pretty generic cure for anything, it; makes ALOT almost 20lbs so i;ll try to break it down for you. or you can just adjust the flavorings anyway you like.

equal parts of brown sugar and kosher salt (we use sea salt, but kosher will do just fine and it;s about 9times cheaper) is standard for a cure, i personally do not use curing salt aka sodium nitrate, bad stuff.

2lbs of sugar, 2lbs of salt. 1 table spoon of each, garlic powder, onion powder, dried tyme, ginger, ground coriander 5T of black pepper, 1/2 T of allspice, clove, and cinnamon.

just rub it on generously and let it cure for a few days, wash it off and cold smoke for a few hours.

"smile, life could be worse.. i could be datin your daughter."
