My favorite recipes have brown sugar. I have others that use no sugar, but I dont like them as much.

I also have a good recipe with sugar in it. Tastes great

I won't be making jerky until about end of Jan. to Feb. If the contest doesn't start until then, then I am in.

if we can't get a entry fee ; say $1.00 to get a plaque for best,then matbe I could make one in my shop. I do a lot of woodwork(build furniture and stuff).
I don't think anyone would object to $1.00.

as for the time limit,I think we will be into Jan. befor you know it.it will take a couple mo's. to get it all together and working.

we need to get one person to be the outside man,issue the #'s for each person and to notify them of all rules and the other stuff involved.
I love to make it and eat it.so if no one else wants to,I would be will to help with that.

Well do we try it with what we have or what? If we go with the names so far then we need to find a place to hash out rules and what ever.
